Fun With Pasta (The Slightly Less Healthy Edition) | Buttery Lemon Pasta

Serves one.

For the third in my series of pasta dishes for stupid kids who can’t cook good, I am going to be making a super creamy and delicious rigatoni with lemon and butter sauce.  In addition to being super yummy, this is pretty quick and cheap to prepare and lots of the ingredients are things commonly found in the kitchen.  This isn’t the healthiest pasta dish in the world, but hell, it tastes good.

What you’ll need

The zest of a lemon

Pasta

About 25 grams of butter

Salt

Pepper

Some fresh basil

A dessert spoon of creme fraiche

What to do

Bring a pot of water to the boil and start cooking the pasta.

While the pasta is cooking, zest the lemon.  Try not to zest off the white stuff underneath the yellow zest as it has an unusual flavour.

Strain the pasta and return it to the pot along with the butter, lemon zest, salt, pepper and creme fraiche.  Stir it all until the pasta is evenly covered by the sauce.

Plate up, top with some basil and eat! Yum stuff.
